## Bringing the Chamber’s foundational pillars to life through intuitive, accessible design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  **The Challenge**

The Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI) required a comprehensive digital overhaul to better serve its diverse membership. The goal was to design and develop a modern digital hub that empowers everyone from sole traders to major employers. The new platform needed to simplify a massive volume of complex resources, ensuring intuitive, streamlined access to the Chamber’s four core pillars.

 

 

 

**Our Solution**

We delivered a comprehensive digital overhaul built around a clean, scalable, and highly accessible architecture. By focusing on intuitive navigation and a modernised aesthetic, we transformed the TCCI website into a dynamic digital hub that seamlessly serves businesses of all sizes.

 As Tasmania’s premier business organisation, the TCCI supports over 1,500 members across a diverse range of industries. They are dedicated to helping businesses navigate day-to-day challenges, up skill their teams, foster valuable connections, and ensure their voices are heard on critical issues. Every service and support initiative they offer is driven by their four foundational pillars: **Support, Education, Connection,** and **Advocacy.**

 ### **Information Architecture & Mega Menu Navigation**

The site’s architecture is built entirely around TCCI’s four core pillars: *Support, Educate, Connect,* and *Advocate*.

- **Spacious Mega Menus:** Replaced cluttered traditional drop-downs with clean mega menus.
- **Conversion Pathways:** High-value secondary links, such as *Membership, Events,* and *Contact Us*, were intentionally separated from the main pillars to act as direct, high-priority action pathways.

 ### **UI/UX Design & Visual Hierarchy**

We designed a clean, corporate aesthetic using ample whitespace, premium photography, and sharp typography to mirror TCCI’s status as the state’s leading business organisation.

- **Colour-Coded Wayfinding:** Each of the four core pillars is anchored by a distinct colour identity, subconsciously training users to locate information instantly as they scroll.
- **"Low-Touch" Motion:** Integrated subtle, purposeful micro-animations to create a modern, dynamic feel without distracting the user or slowing down page load speeds.

 ### **Technical & Development Highlights**

The development focus was on robust database management to transform a massive catalogue of assets, including videos, downloadable templates, and training calendars, into a fast, searchable repository.

- **Scalable Framework:** Engineered to support heavy, frequent content updates by TCCI staff without risking front-end layout breaks.
- **Universal Responsiveness:** Built to deliver an identical, seamless user experience across all devices, whether a sole trader is downloading a template on a phone or an HR manager is browsing from a desktop.
