The previous Peter Lees website was dated and slow to load. It also required a separate mobile friendly version to be maintained independently to the main site, causing a double-up of work.
Peter Lees approached Walker Designs with a goal of being seen as leaders and innovators in real estate within Tasmania. As an approved part of the Jenman group, it was important to explain and promote the unique benefits of dealing with Peter Lees, as well as offer information on all their services. The main objectives were to deliver more to end users as well as to increase contacts and sales enquiries made through the website.
Fostering contacts and client growth through enticing membership systems such as property criteria alerts and property update notifications. Allowing user friendly browsing of properties through enhanced search features and notification systems, as well as incorporating clear calls to action throughout the site.
It was also important for Peter Lees to be viewed as thought leaders through regular blog posts, relevant content and linked social media systems. Combining the two separate sites into one using mobile responsive technology was considered essential.
It was crucial that we integrate with a number of existing property listing systems – these drive both the new Peter Lees Website as well as other property listing systems (such as realestate.com.au and domain.com.au). Properties can now be easily uploaded and updated without the need for separate website content management.
Our dramatic improvements to the search engine, including functions to add keywords, view nearby properties and see results in a range of different formats (such as tile, list or map views), allow users to easily research and filter properties.
We developed membership systems so users can save properties to their account and receive notifications when a property is updated. Along with this, we incorporated a system for users to be notified via email of any properties within a specific price range, suburb, or other desired criteria. We have created further user engagement by adding galleries and interactive maps. An online application process for rental properties has also been implemented.
A content management system allows Peter Lees to regularly and easily update content in-house, including integrated blog posts and social media systems.
A responsive layout delivers faultless content to any device regardless of screen size.
The Peter Lees website is blisteringly fast. Since its launch in July the new site is already engaging more clients by enticing them to sign up for member notifications. Staff time is also being saved with less manual and double handling of e-marketing material.
So far, the site has had very positive feedback, both from the Peter Lees team and their client base. A first-rate outcome.
