The elegant logo we have designed incorporates the developer’s positioning considerations and is in keeping with the location. We formed the top of the 'y' in 'Hawley' to represent seaweed/kelp or beachside foliage, such as the leaves of the locally occurring Boobialla bushes.
The name 'Hawley' can also mean ‘hedged meadow’. Since Hawley Beach is near the beach, in this context, it suggests the ‘hedged meadow’ is actually Boobialla hedges on the sand dunes. The final typographical logo combines these elements, providing an elegant, engaging solution.
