Forico Natural Capital Report 2025
The Challenge
Forico’s Natural Capital Report is a world-leading, Australian-first benchmark in environmental stewardship and corporate sustainability reporting. The brief was to design a comprehensive report that quantified the ecological value of Forico’s assets, from carbon sequestration and water filtration to biodiversity conservation, while reinforcing its position as an industry leader aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Solution
Walker Designs crafted a 76-page print and digital publication that elevates sustainability reporting into a compelling visual narrative. Through considered typography, refined data visualisation and powerful photography, we created a design system that balanced Forico’s brand identity with the visual language of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Printed in-house on recycled stock using our digital press and expertly bound by our industry partners Foot & Playsted, the final piece reflects Forico’s environmental commitment not only in content, but in production.
Forico is a Tasmanian-based forestry and natural capital management company, responsible for managing extensive plantation and conservation estates. Recognised internationally for its leadership in sustainability reporting, Forico’s Natural Capital Reports assign a quantified monetary value to ecological assets, demonstrating how environmental stewardship and commercial forestry can coexist.
The 2025 edition marks the fifth instalment of this world-leading initiative and continues to set a standard for business transparency and environmental accountability in Australia and beyond.
Designing with Clarity
Despite its depth of data and analysis, the report maintains a calm and confident visual rhythm. Strategic spacing and typographic hierarchy guide readers through complex information, allowing key findings to stand out without overwhelming the page.
Visualising Environmental Value
Custom graphics and data visualisations were developed to articulate the monetary value of ecological assets, from carbon sequestration to biodiversity support. These visual elements make technical sustainability metrics accessible to stakeholders, policymakers and industry leaders alike.

The publication seamlessly integrates the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals alongside Forico’s branding. This considered alignment reinforces Forico’s global outlook while maintaining a cohesive and sophisticated aesthetic.
